Teaching

I have taught at Technische Universität Berlin, Technische Universität Braunschweig, and the École normale supérieure in Paris. My teaching covers the history of philosophy from antiquity to the twentieth century and connects historical materials with systematic questions in theoretical philosophy.

History of philosophy

Aristotle, Kantian and post-Kantian philosophy, German Idealism, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, Bergson, Cassirer, and the history of epistemology.
